BIO
William has experience working in both post-production and production, handling conversions, edits, motion graphics, visual effects, and camera operation. To-date some of the companies he has worked for are Red Bee Media (at Channel 4), Technicolor, Turner Broadcasting and BTV Post.
Based on his VFX and Motion Graphics work, he has now won two competitions; the most recent being the Grand Prize for the Scan Velocity 2014 competition in the MoGraph & HDR category.
He has worked on four feature films providing VFX and Motion Graphics, and over 10 short films and documentaries in Producer/Director, Editor, Camera Operator and VFX roles. He produces and sell HD stock video and 4K time-lapses. He has shot on-location in places such as India and Japan, and interviewed and filmed a range of people.
Key skills:
- Compositing, VFX and Motion Graphic work in After Effects, including plug-ins such as Element 3D, Cameratracker, Shine, Particular, Optical Flares and many others.
- Editing in ******** Premier and Avid Media Composer, along with some Final Cut Pro and Edius experience. Promos, short form, documentaries, off-line and on-line.
- Experience in the ******** CC range, After Effects, Photoshop, Media Encoder, Encore, Bridge, Dreamweaver and Illustrator.
- Transcoding and standards conversions with Rhozet Carbon Coder, ******** Media Encoder, Premiere, AviSynth, Avanti, MPEG Streamclip and Sorenson Squeeze.

He is a graduate of Winchester University where he studied for a BA Hons in Media Production and Film Studies, gaining a 2:1. He lived in Japan for two and a half years, both studying and working.
