It seems cliché to say that I'm inspired by color, but it's really true. I look at everything (not just through a camera lens) to try and discern all the colors I'm seeing, especially when it seems obvious — like a "green" leaf most likely has many, many shades of green, which will change depending on the light, texture of the leaf, dew on its surface. I'm most fascinated by these details, and try to capture the essence of those details in my photos, and also in the color palette images that I develop, inspired by my photos.

Close-up details of almost anything: condensation on the side of a cold glass, raindrops on a leaf, the texture and color of a mohair sweater. Anything that inspires me with its colors.
